I posted something yesterday about a living a hunter-gatherer existence.  I think it's more than that.  I think I need to live a Zen life.  A hunter-gatherer existence implies more of a mindless wondering without much thought or purpose.  A Zen life is full of balanced purpose, thought, and action.  The key word here is balance.
