Drivel: In 1996 I gave up on my Master's degree in Economics at Boston University to pursue the great economic unknown -- technology. Little did I know what I was getting myself into. Things are coming full circle. I am now pulling equalling on my academic training, experience as a developer, systems engineering experience, and experiences as a CTO every day. Life is good, but not without challenges. |

Drivel: Where are all of the business blogs? What is life like inside some of these mammoth organizations we know at businesses? I know there are a lot of Microsoft blogs, but what about everyone else? Where are the blogs from the non-technology companies? As an economist by training and geek at heart, how would the ecomony change if these blogs existed? |

Drivel: I also went to the gym today for the first time in the a month. It was like an old shoe, a little tight, but an old shoe none the less. My family has a history of heart problems that I would really like to avoid. By being active and making time to keep myself in shape, I hope to avoid those problems in the next ten years. |

Drivel: I played my first real round of golf today. I was surprised how much I actually liked it! There was something very Zen-like about hitting the ball, it going where the wind and my stroke took it, and then finding it. I only lost one ball the entire nine holes and found one in the woods to make up for it. Yes, I did end up in the woods a couple of times. I really need to work on my driving technique. |
