This isn't a bad idea. What isn't highlighted in the article is that the Pentagon is applying market dynamics and forecasting techniques to predict events or potential outcomes. Isn't this what all good businesses do? Isn't espionage and war a business? However, it could create a self-fulfilling prophecy in which the government uses popular opinion to act out events. What do you think? I will be tracking this with great interest.
