Phil Wolff has a great post about sematic blogging. There was a ton of talk and hype about the sematic web a couple of years ago. The combination of simple formats, such as RSS and XML-RPC, make sematic blogging attainable and remove a lot of barriers that confronted the sematic web.

The impending arrival of our baby is definitely providing a new focus on life. With getting adjusted to my new job I found myself falling back into old work habits. These habits are less than family-friendly. I have learned that they just weren't acceptable any more. Figuring out new work habits and patterns will be quite good for me and should drive a decent amount of sanity into my life and make me much more easier to live with.

As much as I love the Internet, I love the feeling of a good book that can keep my attention for hours. I especially like hard bound books with pages that separate themselves. Hard bound books are great for reading while lying around the house or going to the park. I also like over sized soft bound books that fit nicely into my computer bag for flights. I haven't been able to digest the whole e-Book thing, yet. I find that I'm hitting the down button or my eyes get tired quickly while reading dense fine print on my screen. Nothing beats a book when you need to cover a dense topic for an extended period of time.
