I've added a Hitmap to the front page of my blog. This is pretty cool. It tracks the hits I receive to my web site and plots them on a world maps. As more hits come in, the indicators on the map change to accommodate more visitors. While investigating this a little more, it looks like
Jabber may be used behind the scenes somewhere. Hitmaps has a sister project call
BuddySpace which is attempting to join online presence and location with physical presence and location.
