I would like to extend a single, extremely humble thanks to all of the men, women, and their families who are defending our country at home and abroad. Without your sacrifices, nobility, and honor, our country would not be as great and we would not be celebrating this holiday. Thank you. Be safe, be smart, and God speed. |

This year I am thankful for many things. I am especially thankful to be married to an amazing and strong woman, Shellie, who I often wonder if I deserve. I am thankful for our daughter who has taught me so much about life in her first year in this world. We successfully made it through our first year of parenthood alive, which included a transcontinental move. I am thankful for old friends and new. To our old friends (John & Marie, Brian & Jen, Amy, Marina, Victor, Steve, Rick, Paul), thank you for understanding and supporting the difficult decisions we made this year. To our new friends (Steve & Christy, Matt & Chanda, Henry & Rachel), thanks for being here with open arms when we arrived in San Diego. A special thanks to my brother and sister in-law, Chuck and Pam, for helping us make the move much easier. We really could not have done it without you. To our family, we’re here. We know how happy you all are to have us back on the left coast. We are happy to be closer to you as well. We are thankful to have so many wonderful people in our lives. The challenges of the year are not yet over, but we face them knowing that the decisions will come easier with all of you in our lives. Have a wonderful, safe, and happy Thanksgiving, everyone! |
