Here's a feature request for FM Radio:  enable editing of Radio prefs in the FM Radio GUI.  I hate bouncing between three apps to manage my weblog, with the three apps being Radio, FM Radio, and IE.  I'd like to limit my interactions to two applications, at most.  Ideally, I'd like to get it down to one.  I know, I know.  I can hear it now.  "User a server based app."  No way.  I've been in far too many situations where servers crash, companies implode, or Murphy is just having a bad day.  I want it to be my fault of I can't restore my weblog to its last known good state.

Every time I start up FM Radio, it asks me to turn on the Radio news aggregator.  I don't want it on as I use Newsgator in Outlook.  I find using an Outlook based aggregator more effective.  FM Radio should just disable the News button in the main menu bar if the Radio aggregator is turned off.

I'll be testing FM Radio for the next 30 days to see if I want to use it permanently.  I'm pretty sure I will, but want to make sure that there are no major drawbacks.

I downloaded and installed FM Radio from SocialDymamX before leaving for Chicago this afternoon.  This is the first post using FM Radio.  I've been looking for a richer editing interface to Radio for some time and have been hesitant to use something that is non-UserLand with Radio, fearing integration issues.  One nice feature that I see in FM Radio is the ability to create drafts of posts.  FM Radio also has integrated spell check, which will prevent me from having to cut and paste ever post to and from Word as I am used to doing.  Well, let's see how this works.
