Yet another sales pitch. I must be becoming more sensitive to these as this conference is rolling on. I wanted to attend this keynote because the topic was Grid computing. It ended up being very little about Grid computing and an overview of their 10g products instead. After spending four months research Grids last year, and all of the foundational technology, Oracle is using the Grid in name and nothing more. They are offering advanced clustering, not Grid services.
