I took Molly to Home Depot last night to grab a few things. As we were leaving, we saw a baby in another cart. I said, "Look, Molly, there's another baby." She pointed to the other baby and said, "Baby!" I just about fainted right then and there. Her verbal skills are truly amazing. She is saying, "hi" in response to someone else saying "hi" to her first. She is saying "mama" and "dada." She can't quite say "banana" yet, but she has shortened it to "nana." However, she uses "nana" as the word for just about any form of food right now. The other night while we were eating dinner she blurted out her first phrase, "Hi, baby." Shellie and I just looked at each other and started clapping. Molly gave use the weirdest look and then started clapping with us. 11:51:56 PM    comments ()
